Leaving Campus
The School provides bus transportation to the Wilmington Train/Bus Station and the Philadelphia Airport for Long Weekends and school breaks. A trip to each will depart approximately an hour after the last class or activity/practice concludes on the day the break begins. In order to protect the integrity of the academic day, except under special circumstances, the School will not provide transportation before class/activities/practices conclude on those days, while any later departure time can only be served by the School depending on the availability of School drivers. It is important that students who need transportation to the Wilmington Train/Bus Station or the Philadelphia Airport inform Transportation Coordinator Karin Wright (904-728-8057 or kwright@standrews-de.org) five days prior to travel. The group rate fee for the bus to the Philadelphia Airport is $35; the group rate fee for the bus to the Wilmington Train/Bus Station is $25. These fees will be deducted from the student's miscellaneous billing account. Karin Wright will email students their driver information prior to travel.
