Insurance Plans 2019-2020
CAA will no longer be able to offer primary injury and sickness coverage to our Domestic student population for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Policies for international students are not impacted at this time. CAA has indicated that it is trying to find a solution for domestic students but is not optimistic. At this time, no substitute insurance product has been identified. It is important for all students to have appropriate health insurance coverage while in attendance. Please contact your home state insurance coverage office or Medicaid office to confirm that coverage available to your family will be valid while your student is residing at school in Delaware. If a replacement product becomes available, information will be posted on this website.
Plan I—Primary Insurance for International Students Only

The Student Injury and Sickness Plan, underwritten by United Healthcare Insurance, provides primary first dollar benefits for students who do not have any insurance, or whose coverage is not accepted outside of their home area.
This plan provides coverage for 10 months (August 15, 2019 through June 14, 2020) for $1,880.00 USD for international students. Please review the documents below for plan details.
To enroll in this Plan, please complete the required Health and Accident Insurance Form (page HCF-2) of our health forms. If you have questions regarding this plan, please contact the Health Center at 302-285-4240, or via email to email@example.com.
Plan II—Supplemental Insurance (Available to Domestic & International Students)
The Student Accident Insurance plan, underwritten by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc., is a supplemental plan that offers coverage for accidental bodily injury from August 23, 2019 through May 30, 2020, for $120.00 USD. If your child participates in sports and/or is prone to accidents, we highly recommend this plan. There is no limit on the number of accidents covered during the policy period. The plan will pay 100% of eligible expenses incurred for medical services, up to $2,500 for each injury. Claims are submitted by the Health Center or parent/guardian. Since this plan is a supplemental plan, it cannot be purchased and/or used as primary health insurance coverage.
To sign up for this plan, please complete the required Health and Accident Insurance Form (page HCF-2) of our health forms. If you have questions regarding this plan, please contact the Health Center at 302-285-4240, or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
