Chris Sanchez
Born and raised in Bear, Delaware, Chris takes immense pride in being a product of the Delaware public school system.
Upon completing his education at the University of Delaware, Chris obtained a B.S. in physics and a B.A. in philosophy, all while managing multiple jobs to support his college tuition.
Joining the St. Andrew's faculty in 2017, Chris discovered a deep passion for teaching, coaching, mentorship, and living in a fully residential learning community. His passion particularly lies in supporting new students—from all walks of life—as they transition to the school.
Outside of St. Andrew’s, Chris is wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting students in the local Delaware community. He spends part of his summers working for a non-profit college access and persistence program that empowers first-generation-to-college, high-achieving, under-resourced Delaware public school students to gain admission to competitive four-year universities.
Outside of his work, Chris cherishes his family, friends, running, hiking, coffee, technology, traveling, watching MMA, engaging in meaningful conversations, and seeking new experiences. Currently, he resides in Founders Hall at the end of the Hillier corridor.
