Welcome Letter

Dear Parents,

We look forward to welcoming you to our 2019 Parents Weekend, Friday evening through Sunday, October 18-20. Please see our website for a Schedule of Events for the weekend. You will also find a list of nearby hotels should you need overnight accommodations.

The weekend is an exhibition of the spirit, energy, intention, and community of St. Andrew’s, and I urge you to come, meet our faculty, talk with other parents, and most importantly, find time on our beautiful campus to talk to your son or daughter.

The athletic and arts programs will be in full flight over the weekend, with games, plays, and performances scheduled from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. You will have the chance to meet with your child’s teachers, both in individual conferences scheduled on Saturday and Sunday and in more informal settings throughout the weekend. Please encourage your child to sign you up for conferences on Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday afternoon.

The parents meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday gives me the chance to welcome you, say a few words about the school year, and answer any questions you may have. I will be available throughout the weekend for private conferences as well. Please call me at 302-285-4213 if you wish to make an appointment.

On Friday and Saturday evening, our theatre program will present the The Curious Savage by John Patrick.

Please complete the RSVP form at your earliest convenience. We want to be sure our Dining Hall preparations are accurate.
