Favorite Class/Team/Club/Activity: My favorite team at SAS was definitely the boys varsity soccer team. Since my sophomore year, this team pushed me to put forth my best self both on and off of the field. There were good times as well as bad times, all of which created memories that I will play over and over in my head forever.

What I miss the most Due to Virtual Term: What I miss most is seeing my friends from around the country and world. SAS provides a unique opportunity to connect with others who often have completely different values than our own. I think this causes all of us to form strong friendships with one another. Since our virtual term began, all I can think about is hanging out with all of those friends that made SAS such a pleasant experience.

Powerful Experience: During my junior year, I decided to take a mental health leave to better myself and become more efficient in various aspects of my life. Having missed so much school for such a sensitive reason, I found the way I was welcomed back into the community powerful, because for so long I felt alone—until St. Andrew’s made me realize that I wasn’t.

Advice to Underclassmen & Future Students: The advice that I would give to the underclassmen is to just take a step back and realize that in 20 years what you will remember the most about SAS is the friendships you’ve formed. Make sure that you don’t take it for granted and enjoy every moment as if it were your last.
