What I miss the most Due to Virtual Term: What I miss most about SAS right now is the spontaneity. I love that on any given day, no matter the weather or the circumstance, I could find a group of people to walk to Starbucks or hike in the woods. SAS absolutely taught me to find fun in creative ways, and I think that’s an important lifelong skill.
Favorite SAS memory/tradition/place: My favorite place on St. Andrew’s campus has to be the T-Dock. In every direction you look, there’s an amazing view. I especially recommend playing some chill music and stargazing with friends.
Recall in a Decade: SAS taught me to continually learn about others and never make assumptions. Even when you think you have someone figured out, there’s more to learn. After four years, I’m still learning more about how complex my classmates and friends are.
Advice to Underclassmen & Future Students: The best advice I can give is this: listen to your own needs and take good care of yourself, first and foremost. At SAS, it can be really easy to get caught up in schoolwork, socializing, and sports. You have to remember to take care of your own well-being and make time for what you value. If you feel you need some alone time, then take it!
