Ninette Enrique will bring more than two decades of distinguished experience in advancement and nonprofit leadership to her new role at St. Andrew's.

Today, St. Andrew’s Head of School Joy McGrath ’92 announced that Ninette Enrique will join her leadership team in May as associate head of school for advancement. In this vital role, Enrique will partner closely with the head of school, board of trustees, advancement, alumni, parents, and friends of St. Andrew’s to deepen engagement, strengthen relationships across our community, and advance philanthropic support for our mission.

“As St. Andrew’s approaches its second century, we must think boldly about the future of this remarkable school and the enduring mission that has shaped generations of students,” McGrath says. “Ninette brings exceptional experience, strategic vision, and a deep appreciation for the power of relationships in advancing an institution’s aspirations. I am thrilled to welcome her to our community and confident that her leadership will strengthen our engagement with alumni, parents, and friends around the world, ensuring that St. Andrew’s continues to thrive for generations to come.”

Enrique brings more than two decades of distinguished experience in advancement and nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as chief advancement officer at The Hotchkiss School, where she designed and led the $250 million “Ever Forward” campaign, Hotchkiss’s first capital campaign in 30 years. Prior to Hotchkiss, Enrique spent 17 years as director of development at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, Conn., where she oversaw major giving, annual and planned giving efforts, alumni and parent relations, capital campaigns, and development communications—consistently fostering collaborative, mission-driven teams and enhancing institutional support.

Throughout her career, Enrique has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build community engagement and expand philanthropic impact. Her work across independent schools and nonprofit organizations reflects a steadfast commitment to inclusive, relationship-centered advancement, and she has helped organizations raise significant resources to support long-term strategic priorities. She is known for her thoughtful leadership, her ability to inspire volunteers and donors alike, and her joyful dedication to mission-aligned fundraising.

Enrique holds a B.A. in English from Williams College and an M.A. in history from Columbia University, along with advanced study in East Asian studies from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. Her academic background and professional experience reflect a deep commitment to educational excellence and to fostering community understanding and support.
