Introducing incoming Chief Communications Officer Stacy Jagodowski.

Today, Head of School Joy McGrath ’92 announced that Stacy Jagodowski will join her leadership team on July 1 as chief communications officer.

In this vital role, Jagodowski will lead the school’s strategic communications efforts, shaping how St. Andrew’s communicates its mission and distinctiveness to stakeholders and new audiences. She will partner closely with senior leadership to advance the school’s mission, strengthen its institutional voice, and deepen engagement across the global St. Andrew’s community.

“As St. Andrew’s continues to grow in reach and impact, the clarity and power of our story matters more than ever,” McGrath says. “Stacy brings extraordinary experience, leadership, and strategic insight to this work. She understands how communications can strengthen community, elevate mission, and inspire connection. I am thrilled to welcome her to St. Andrew’s, and confident that her leadership will help us share the story of our remarkable school with authenticity and purpose.”

Jagodowski brings more than two decades of experience in independent schools, where she has led marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen institutional identity, support enrollment and advancement, and build enduring relationships with alumni and families. Her career also includes five years in admissions, giving her a direct understanding of how communications and enrollment work together to shape a school’s future. Jagodowski currently serves as director of strategic marketing and communications at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts, where she leads a comprehensive marketing and communications program spanning brand strategy, digital engagement, publications, and storytelling.

Jagodowski has previously served as director of strategic marketing and communications at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut and held marketing, communications, and admissions roles at independent schools in Los Angeles, Massachusetts, and Virginia. Throughout her career, she has led award-winning teams recognized for excellence in annual fund communications, alumni publications, and integrated marketing strategy. A frequent presenter at national conferences, she is widely respected for her thought leadership in independent schools.

Jagodowski’s work is distinguished by a deep belief in the power of narrative to connect people to purpose. Having taught, lived in a dormitory, and worked across multiple areas of school life, she brings a holistic understanding of boarding schools and a commitment to elevating the voices and experiences that define them.

“I am honored to join St. Andrew’s, a school committed to a transformative residential education,” says Jagodowski. “There are so many stories worth telling here. I look forward to partnering with Joy, the board, and the entire St. Andrew’s community to help share them.”

Jagodowski holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and design from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s degree in communications and information management from Bay Path University, along with additional certification in marketing strategy from Cornell University.
