Dean of Equity & Inclusion Danica Tisdale-Fisher and faculty and student leaders will discuss how the school supports the SAS LGBTQIA+ community, and potential future opportunities for alumni engagement.

LGBTQIA+ Conversation & Community: Looking Back, Healing Together
Those who were young and queer at SAS in the 1990s and earlier experienced a lot of challenges and trauma. Members of the Class of 1998—which has tragically lost two gay classmates, Michael Evans and Daniel Kang, in the years since graduation—are hosting a safe, facilitated space during Reunion Weekend to share and listen; to mourn, to heal, and to create or deepen a sense of belonging, in honor of Michael and Daniel. Alumni and their loved ones from all class years and of all ages, gender identifications, and orientations are welcome to join this session. Facilitated by Leslie Archer ’00, LCSW.
