Dining

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

Our long-standing tradition of family-style meals, five days a week, is vital to the life of our community.

Family-style meals slow the busy pace of our lives, allowing us to share plates and share stories.  At family-style meals, every dining hall table is assigned to two faculty members and eight students, mixed by grade. Table assignments rotate every few weeks, offering new opportunities for connection and relationship-building for students and adults. Students take turns as waiters, and are responsible for setting the table, bringing food from the servery, and clearing the table. At the end of the meal, the student body co-presidents lead daily  announcements.

Family-style meals happen during weekday lunches, and on Wednesday evenings before Chapel. Breakfasts and dinners—except for Wednesday night dinner—are informal cafeteria-style meals. There are no assigned tables at cafeteria style meals, so grab a friend or five and enjoy!
