Living with your teachers and your friends is a thrilling, transformative, and grounding way to spend your teenage years. 

We believe that the best education is one that involves not only learning in the classroom from books, but learning from the deep, meaningful relationships formed with peers and mentors within the school community.

We are one of only four fully residential co-ed boarding schools in the United States.  Dorm life, service activities, and our shared traditions around chapel, meals, and weekend activities make the St. Andrew's experience rich and deeply rewarding.

What makes it more rewarding still is the human connection at its center—the conversations that happen because a smart phone isn't in the way. 

Our phone-free culture requires that phones stay in student's rooms during the academic day and during sports and activities. Before lights out each night, students turn them in, which means an actual alarm clock—not a phone—wakes them up in the morning. It's a small rule with an outsized effect: real conversation at meals, eye contact in the halls, a childhood returned.
