Team Overview
The St. Andrew's boys and girls swim team returns after missing a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic with a very large team. Featuring multiple fast swimmers in each class, the depth of both teams will be a force to be reckoned with. They are led by talented seniors who are excited for the season to show what they can do in the pool since for the first time since their sophomore year.
In 2019/20 the girls finished 11th and the boys finished 15th in the state with only a handful of swimmers. The team looks to continue to improve and grow as a program. This year the Saints are aiming to add more swimmers in the top 16 at the state championship. Multiple swimmers will have a chance to be All-Conference and multiple relays have the goal to finish in the top eight for both genders. With a strong coaching staff returning along with some new additions, the season promises to be a success.

Points of Emphasis and Program Goals
The team is coached by five different coaches who apply a comprehensive approach to technique, aerobic work and dry land. At least two days every week are committed to work in the gym and a premium is put on drag reduction and injury prevention. The difficult sets always have a purpose, and coaches encourage the team to build each other up when the sets get difficult. Seniors are empowered to establish a positive culture on the team, regardless of experience level or background. The goal is this program continues to build and improve on its top 20 position in the state and to remain competitive for the top spot in the independent conference.
