Win 12-3

The Saints were nervous as they travelled to Wilmington to face the Sanford Warriors, a team that had bested them nine out of the last ten times they had played. As they went through their pre-game machinations on the bus, a hush fell over the players as they contemplated the struggle ahead. Pre-game exercises enabled the team to get loose and prepare physically but the nervousness of the team was palpable. Finally, the opening whistle blew, Kazi won the first face-off and the Saints never looked back nor did thet trail en route to a 12 - 3 victory over their conference rivals. Shout out to the defense for sticking to their match-ups and to the game plan holding the potent Sanford offense to just 1 goal in the second half ! Senior long stick middie defender, Will Dulaney even got in on the scoring posting a great goal that really broke the game open. The Saints are next in action Tuesday against Tower Hill.
