The St. Andrew’s boys & girls cross country teams hosted Indian River HS and Cape Henlopen HS on Friday afternoon in their first Tri-Meet of the season. Blake Hundley ’20 captured gold for the boys, racing to a 1st place finish with an impressive time of 16:25. JT Meyer ’21 placed 2nd overall with a time of 17:13 while Alec Finch ’22 posted a time of 18:18, good enough for 10th overall. Trey Ketzner ’21 and Topher Hummel ’20 came in 11th and 13th, respectively.

For the girls, Charlotte Gehrs ’20 led all Saints runners and came in third overall, crossing the finish line in 21:04. Sarah Bruno ‘21 and Emily Boyer ‘21 came within seconds of each other, placing 8th and 9th overall as they both finished the race in just under 23 minutes. Josie Pitt ’23 rounded out the top ten for the Saints in her racing debut with a time of 23:11.
