The boys cross-country team participated in the Joe O’Neill Invitational on Friday afternoon, taking sixth place overall (competing against 38 teams), and second place among the 28 teams competing in Division II. Blake Hundley ’20 led all Saints runners with a time of 16:32, good enough for 14th place. Augie Segger ’19 was the second Saint to cross the finish line, running to a strong time of 17:06, while Will Cammerzell ’19 finished 12 seconds behind him.

Nineteen Saints runners set new personal records on the course. Twelve runners improved their PR by at least 30 seconds, and Jun Choi ’22, Hayden Messina ’21, Shap McCoy ’19, Ethan Bond ’19, Eliot Thomas-Hilton ’21, and Dustin Fang ’20 improved their PRs by more than 50 seconds. Will Cammerzell ’19, Peter Geng ’20, and Augie Segger ’19 ran their fastest race of the 2018 season.

The Saints will host the DISC Tournament on the Friday of Parents Weekend. Races begin at 4:00 p.m.
