Dave grew up in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and graduated from St. Andrew’s School in 1996. Dave studied at the University of Delaware and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics.

Dave began his work at St. Andrew's School while still in college and has been a part of the School community since. He teaches computer science and mathematics and is a coach in the boys crew program.

Dave lives on campus in the Annex with his wife Jenn and daughter Marin.
