Peter returned to his alma mater in 1998 after working in the music production business. During his student years at St. Andrew’s, Peter was active in varsity football, varsity baseball, the winter musical, and the concert choir. He graduated magna cum laude in 1989 and was awarded the Mathematics Prize, the Scott Science Prize, and the Choir Prize.

Peter continued his studies at the College of Wooster, graduating with honors in 1993 with a B.A. in music composition and a mathematics minor. Peter received his M.M. in 1995 from the University of Miami. He worked as a music producer and studio manager before returning to St. Andrew’s.

Peter served as the first Director of Information Technology for 21 years and worked with his team to develop and support numerous technological programs affecting every aspect of school life: academic, administrative, and resident life. He stepped down in 2019 to focus on the development of the Film Studies program.

Outside of education, Peter collaborates as a screenwriter, director, editor, and sound designer, and leads the filmmaking program at the Everett Theatre in Middletown, DE.

In his spare time, Peter writes and produces films and music. He lives with his wife, Sarah, and his children, Ingrid ’20, Henry ’22, and Claire ’26, nearby in Middletown.
