Reunion Weekend 2020

Your 2020 St. Andrew's Reunion Weekend will take place Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7. This year's Reunion will celebrate class years ending in 5s and 0s, but ALL alumni are welcome!

Access & Affordability Discussion

Based on input from SAS alumni, issues of access and affordability will play a central role in a planned campaign effort. Join members of the Board of Trustees in an intensive discussion and exploration of financial aid as a priority. With the goal of articulating the most compelling and powerful case for financial aid, we are seeking your feedback, ideas, stories and experiences. What You Need to Know About Reunion 2020

Accommodations

On-Campus Options

Residence halls are open to alumni and their families (no pets are allowed in rooms or on campus) and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

On-campus housing is included in the weekend rate. Review the Reunion registration form for a la carte pricing and one-night stay options.

  • Class years are housed together; single registrants will be housed with same-gender roommates. Let us know via email if you and a classmate would like to be roommates. 
  • Basic sheets, towels, and a pillow are provided for each bed.
  • Please plan for the weather. Dorms to not have air conditioning and we do not provide blankets or fans.
  • Please leave valuables at home, as rooms are not locked.
  • There are no private bathrooms on dorms, but there are designated same-gender bathrooms.
  • If you need special accommodations, please let us know by emailing rsvp@standrews-de.org or calling 302-285-4411 and we will do our best to accommodate you!

Off-Campus Options

St. Andrew’s has reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Middletown. Please reference "SAM" to access this block. For info on other off-campus accommodations, visit our Getting to Campus page.

Hampton Inn Shuttle

Shuttle service to St. Andrew's will be available on Friday and Saturday nights, departing from the Hampton Inn in Middletown at 5:00 p.m. and returning from St. Andrew's at 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. You can sign up for this complimentary service on the Reunion registration form

Activities on Campus

You are welcome to use St. Andrew's facilities for any of the following activities:

  • Basketball
  • Bicycling (bring your bike)
  • Birdwatching (bring your binoculars)
  • Canoeing
  • Field sports such as soccer, touch football, lacrosse, baseball (bring your own equipment)
  • Fishing (bring your rod)
  • Hiking
  • Rowing
  • Tennis or squash (bring your racquet)
  • Swimming (children must be supervised at all times)

Attire

Dress for the weekend is casual. Please note that many of the weekend's events will take place outside. 

Chapel Volunteers

We would love to have your assistance in leading the Sunday morning memorial Chapel service. You can sign up to serve as an usher, acolyte/crucifer, or reader for the service in the Reunion registration form

Childcare

Babysitting

For care of children under the age of 5, we ask for you to arrange a private sitter. Please contact Director of Events Kathy Mitchell at 302-285-4241 or kmitchell@standrews-de.org for a list of sitters. All questions regarding scheduling, availability, and payment should be made directly with the sitter. St. Andrew's does not provide training or supervision of the babysitters and has not performed background checks.

Reunion Funhouse

The Reunion Funhouse provides supervised activities for children 5-12 years of age. It operates during most of the hours when Reunion activities are scheduled. The cost of this service is included in the children's weekend package rate, or you can choose to pay a separate per diem fee if you are not need childcare for the entire weekend.

Golf Outing

Kick off your weekend with a golf outing on Friday, June 5 at Odessa National Golf Club in nearby Odessa, Delaware. The outing will begin with a noon shotgun start, and participants will play in a scramble format that will be fun for players of all levels. Golf fees are an add-on to weekend rates.

Refund Policy

You may cancel your Reunion registration and/or room reservation at any time prior to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5 (the start of Reunion Weekend). No refunds will be granted after this date and time.
