Tuition & Financial Aid
Since the founding of the school in 1929, St. Andrew’s has been a boarding school affordable to all students who are qualified for admission, regardless of their financial means.
A. Felix duPont, our founder, left the school with an endowment to meet need-blind admission. This has allowed us to pursue a historic commitment to socioeconomic diversity, and to meet 100% of a family's demonstrated financial need. By providing an exemplary educational opportunity to all admitted students, regardless of their financial means, St. Andrew's has developed a truly distinctive student body and School culture.

To understand what this means for your family, take a look at last year's tuition grants; this table displays grants and net tuitions for current students receiving financial aid. We hope this information will help you determine if your family might qualify for a full or partial tuition grant. If you decide to apply for financial aid, please carefully review St. Andrew's financial aid policies and guidelines before you begin the application process.

Applying for Financial Aid
St. Andrew's uses a third-party platform, School and Student Services (SSS), to process our financial aid applications. SSS will ask you to fill out an online Parents' Financial Statement (PFS). Based on the financial information you provide on this comprehensive form, SSS reports to schools an estimated amount your family can contribute towards tuition. This estimate helps our financial aid committee make a fair and objective financial aid decision.
The PFS is available at http://www.solutionsbysss.com after October 2. For new applicants, the PFS and all required documentation must be submitted to SSS by February 15th. Returning parents must re-apply for financial aid each year that their child is enrolled at St. Andrew's, by December 15.
Visit our Parents' Financial Statement Instructions & Notes for guidance on filling our your PFS.
