Four Saints Earn Second at DISC Tournament

The varsity wrestling team traveled to Sanford School on Tuesday afternoon to compete in the Delaware Independent School Conference (DISC) Tournament. Nick Osbourne ’23 continued his impressive rookie campaign, placing second in the 132-pound bracket. Tyler Wood ’21 (138-pound bracket) turned in another outstanding performance, earning a silver medal for the second consecutive year. For the 2019-20 season, Wood has earned medals in five events. Graham Abramo ’22 and Ibrahim Kazi ’23 became the third and fourth Saints to take home silver medals as Abramo finished second in the 152-pound bracket while Kazi earned silver in the 285-pound bracket. The Saints will travel to the Charter School of Wilmington on February 21st to participate in the Independent Conference Championship.
