Duncan and Watts Set New School Football Records

During the Saints varsity football game against Wilmington Friends School on Saturday afternoon, Adrian Watts ’20 threw for 135 yards and contributed three touchdowns (1 passing, 1 rushing and 1 receiving), and Lamar Duncan ’20 hauled in eight passes for 81 yards. Both Watts and Duncan have now made a mark in the SAS record book, setting the single-season passing yardage record and single-season receiving yardage record, respectively. Watts now has 1,140 yards passing on the season while Duncan has 594 yards receiving on 42 receptions. Other achievements during the game: Alex Maruszewski ’20 chipped in with three receptions for 53 yards and one touchdown, Mason McKee ’21 tallied 13 tackles on the day, and Duncan recorded his third interception of the season.

The Saints are back in action next Saturday when they travel to Conrad School for an 11:00 a.m. kickoff.
