Mati Bonetti de Buccini is the mother of Claudina ’21, Tomás ’23, and Roberto ’26. Mati was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She attended Miss Porter’s School (Class of 1990) in Farmington, CT, and graduated with a B.A. in history and a minor in art history from Georgetown University (Class of 1994) in Washington, D.C. She began her career at a local advertising agency in Santo Domingo as an account executive, before receiving her MBA from Columbia Business School (Class of 1998).

After then working at Philip Morris as Brand Manager, Mati went on to MTV Networks, where she worked as Director of International Marketing, launching MTV Japan, and supporting the MTV brands across the world.

After spending time raising her three children, Mati launched Atelier Delaware in 2015, one of the finest art storage facilities in the United States. Atelier Delaware boasts a global clientele, seeking a superior art and fine collectibles storage facility, coupled with Delaware’s tax and trust advantages. In 2016, Mati joined Atelier Storage in Philadelphia, the largest and premiere art storage facility in Philadelphia, as a partner.

Mati serves on the boards of the Hagley Museum and the Delaware College of Art and Design, as well as the Georgetown Latin America Board. She lives with her husband Chris and her family in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
