Faculty Positions
St. Andrew’s faculty members contribute not only to the school's academic programs, but also to our athletics and extracurricular programs. We seek teachers with a deep passion for education, who are inspired and enthused about the promise of teaching—and living—with young people. If you are applying for a faculty position, please note candidates with head coaching experience in squash, tennis, girls basketball, field hockey, or volleyball will be given strong consideration. Candidates with these qualifications should highlight them in their application materials.
Typical responsibilities of a St. Andrew’s teacher include:
- Three or four class sections
- Two seasons of athletic coaching or two seasons of a major, non-athletic extracurricular program
- Weekly dormitory duty
- Weekend duty once every three weekends
- Engagement in school committees and activities
