Kellie is an alumna of St. Andrew’s (Class of 1988); her daughter Ashlie is currently in IVth form at St. Andrew’s, and her twins Christian and James graduated from St. Andrew’s in 2018. Kellie received her A.B. in Economics from Harvard in 1992 and completed her Associateship of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) in 1999.
Kellie began her career in the health policy field, and worked over 10 years as an actuary in the individual disability and long-term care reinsurance markets. But in 2016, she shifted her focus to the political sphere, first as a founding member of Chatham Moms for Change, and then in 2017 as the campaign manager for a local political campaign. Kellie is currently the Constituency Director working with the Mikie Sherrill for Congress campaign in New Jersey's 11th district, managing the constituency outreach for what has become one of the top watched congressional races in the country this election cycle.
Kellie was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, but now lives in Chatham, New Jersey with her husband John; their three children James, Christian and Ashlie; and their two rescue dogs Nellie and Katie. Prior to moving to New Jersey in 2008, the Doucette family lived in Bermuda for 13 years. John is President & CEO of Everest Re’s Reinsurance Division, and recently completed his term as Board Chair at Chatham Day School.
Kellie is also a member of the Board of Ibis Reproductive Health, and serves on their Finance Committee. While her children attended Chatham Day School, Kellie served in various roles, including Parent Association President, Annual Fund Chair, and Gala Chair.
