Khalil (Karl) Saliba founded Saliba Action Strategies LLC in July 2000 to provide business interests and associations with targeted, personal, and aggressive representation in Washington, D.C. Mr. Saliba has extensive experience lobbying Congress and the Administration on a wide range of issues. He has also managed all aspects of Political Action Committees along with coalition, political, and grassroots campaigns. Saliba Action Strategies’ current clients include, Burger King Corporation, National Association of Truck Stop Operators, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., Bloomin’ Brands, The American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufactures, and The Profit Per Employee Coalition of which he serves as Chairman.
Mr. Saliba has a strong background in government, politics, and working with public policy issues. This includes service in the Bush Administration as a Special Assistant at the Department of Energy from 1991-1993 and a political aide to Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour from 1993-1995. In 1995, Mr. Saliba joined The Wexler Group, a government affairs firm, as a principal where he represented a variety of business and political interests.
Mr. Saliba’s past and current strategic partners include New Media Strategies, an online brand management company, Align Public Strategies, and other entities. He remains active in a host of political organizations and was recently appointed to the Board of the Greater Lewes Foundation.
A native of Lewes, Delaware, Saliba holds a B.A. in History from the University of Richmond, a J.D. from Howard University and has done graduate work in International Affairs at the Catholic University of America. At St. Andrew’s Karl was a student leader of the Discipline Committee and played soccer, basketball, and baseball. Karl and his wife Marcy have three daughters, all of whom attended St. Andrew’s: Grace ’12, Alyse ’14, and Audrey ‘18.
