Roberta is a retired investment banker who spent her career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where she specialized in sales and trading of tax exempt securities. She was also a founding principal of Artemis Capital, a municipal bond firm. Roberta and her husband, Arthur Miller ’70, live in New York City; they are the parents of twin daughters, Bella and Bertie Miller who are members of the St. Andrew’s Class of 2014.
Roberta is a graduate of The Wharton School (MBA, Finance). She is also a classically trained singer whose first career was in opera and recital. Roberta holds a diploma from the Academy of Vocal Arts (Philadelphia, PA) and was the recipient of a Tanglewood Vocal Fellowship, a French Government Scholarship for Vocal study in France, and was a Metropolitan Opera Regional Finalist. She has taught both privately and at the university level.
Roberta has served on the Board of the Academy of Vocal Arts and the Pennsylvania Opera Theatre, is currently a Trustee of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, serves on the Board of Musica Sacra NY, where she chairs the Finance Committee, and is a Trustee of the Cathedral School, where she serves on the Board’s Finance Committee.
