Why did you come to St. Andrew’s?
I came here because St. Andrew’s is the most friendly and caring place I know of. All of the students and faculty are here to help you whenever you need help. Whenever I am upset, there are always three or four people trying to help me with my problem. The people here at St. Andrew’s not only help me when I have a problem, they help me have a good time. I am never bored here; there is always something to do – whether it is a game on the front lawn or talking about world events with your dorm parent. When I am at dorm and relaxing with my friends, we are always telling jokes or stories; we are never bored or lonely.
The discussions we have here are the most thought-provoking discussions I have had. I am constantly thinking about what we talked about after class. We will come back to our room and continue our discussion and form new ideas. I am constantly learning new things and changing my opinion on topics. I’m also learning new ways to approach a situation and how to think about events in the world.
At [St. Andrew’s] we are making friends we will have our whole lives. When I come back to school after a vacation or break I am checking in with everybody and seeing how their break was. We all care about each other and want to know how everybody is doing. I hope that when I leave school I will stay in touch with my friends and teachers. I will be able to call my old teachers and friends to catch up.
The people at St. Andrew’s always provoke me to think in different ways and always help, whether if it is just relaxing or helping me with a problem. That is why I came and stay at St. Andrew’s.
