Financial Aid

Goal: $6 million

Financial Aid is part of the founding mission of St. Andrew’s.  The availability of endowment revenues for financial aid to support the School’s need-blind admission policy is essential to the realization of St. Andrew’s mission.

Endowed scholarship funds are part of the permanently restricted endowment, with an annual draw of 5% made each year to cover applicable operating expenses. All investment returns in excess of 5% are returned to the funds for future growth.

St. Andrew's is a great school for many reasons, but I am convinced that the current and future strength of the School depends on our ability to continue and deepen St. Andrew's historic, generous commitment to financial aid.  As a school founded in 1929 with a distinct and radical mission of educating students regardless of means, St. Andrew's has always believed in the power of socio-economic diversity and educational opportunity.
