The Office of Advancement comprises all the fundraising, communication and publications tasks at St. Andrew's School. The office is located on campus in the Trapnell House, which was formerly the faculty residence of the Washburns and the Higginses. Gordon Brownlee ’75
Director of Advancement
Gordon returned to St. Andrew's in 2003 to direct the School's capital
giving efforts. For 23 years he directed institutional
advancement for such notable institutions as Kennedy Krieger Institute
in Baltimore, Md., Mount Rushmore National Memorial in Rapid City,
S.D., and as a consultant to numerous educational, health and
arts-related organizations with Brakeley, Inc. (now
Brakeley/Briscoe). Gordon loves interacting with alumni, families
and friends of St. Andrew's from all generations, and helping them
understand the essential mission and culture of the School. He
and his wife, Pam, the associate director of counseling at St.
Andrew's, have three children, Lindsay ’05, Peter ’09 and Colin ’14.

Will Robinson ’97
Director of Communications
Will is a 1997 graduate of St. Andrew’s where he captained the
lacrosse team, served as Co-Head Prefect and won the William H. Cameron
Award for outstanding service to the school. While double-majoring in English and Peace & Conflict studies at
Colgate University, Will ran varsity cross-country and led "Volunteer
Colgate" - a consortium of 22 volunteer groups serving Madison County,
N.Y. After graduation Will joined Teach For America and taught middle
school special education for three years in rural Louisiana where he
started the school’s baseball team and coached a travel soccer team to
the U12 Louisiana State Championship. Will went on to earn his J.D./M.B.A. from Temple University followed
by a career that took him from Philadelphia’s City Hall to Ogilvy Public
Relations Worldwide where he most recently worked as a senior
strategist on Ogilvy’s 360 Digital Influence team. He is thrilled to be
back in education. Will lives with his wife, Lindsay ’97, and their two young sons, Liam and Luke in Gaul Center.

Chesa Profaci ’80
Director of Alumni Relations
Chesa has promoted stewardship in all aspects of the program at St. Andrew's for 18 years. She now concentrates her efforts on alumni relations, serving as the point-person for alumni regional groups nationwide and helping organize social, service and cultural events for alumni, parents and friends of the School throughout the year, both on and off campus. She also plays a key role in coordinating St. Andrew's dynamic Reunion Weekend each June. Chesa is a friend to alumni from all generations, and she loves catching up with old and new friends both on campus and while traveling. She lives with her family in Chestertown, Maryland, with a barnful of Thoroughbreds, a pony and several housepets.

Taylor Cameron ’90
Major Gifts Officer
Taylor returned to
St. Andrew’s in 2007 after a 13-year career in retail and commercial
banking. As a long-time member and officer of the Alumni Association,
Taylor now looks forward to assisting the School in its leadership and
capital giving efforts on a full-time basis. He enjoys any opportunity
to interact with St. Andrew’s alumni and friends while helping to
support the mission of the School. When not in the office, Taylor can
often be found fishing or hunting on Maryland’s eastern shore. Taylor
and his wife, Shannon, live in Warwick, Md., with their two children,
Alex and Logan.

Bernadette Devine ’99
Major Gifts Officer and Women's Network Coordinator
Bernadette returned to St. Andrew’s at the end of 2008 to join the Advancement team after working for five years in feature film production and sports marketing. As a junior board member of many philanthropic organizations, Bernadette now looks forward to turning her passion for fundraising from a hobby into a career. Eager to connect with alumni and parents in order to celebrate and support the St. Andrew’s ethos, Bernadette will also be coordinating the St. Andrew’s Women’s Network initiatives. Bernadette lives in New York City when she is not on campus and enjoys reading, party planning, sailing on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and coaching lacrosse.
