Girls Varsity Soccer
Team Info
Coach: Sarah Demers
The St. Andrew’s girls’ soccer team began in the fall of 1989 under coach Will Speers as the first girls soccer team in the state. Former coaches Darcy Caldwell and Bobby Rue did much to help develop and strengthen girls’ soccer at St. Andrew'’s. Rue coached seven winning seasons in his nine years at the School. Penn Graves ’98 succeeded Rue and led the team through two excellent seasons. Alexa Caldwell '07 holds the record for most goals in a season with 16, while Daphne Patterson ’04 holds the record for most saves in a game with 23.
Head Coach Sarah Demers was a two-sport varsity athlete at Brown Univeristy before coming to St. Andrew's.
