Coach: Tony Alleyne
Boys’ basketball at St. Andrew’s began as an intramural sport in 1936 and went interscholastic the following year. Coaches Dave Washburn (21 years), Bobby Rue (14 years) and Tad Roach (9 years) have had the longest tenure. St. Andrew’s won the IAC Championship in 1944 and 1945 and Dave Washburn’s team won the DISC Championship in 1970. In 1998, the basketball team became the first in School history to reach the State Tournament, and was selected to the Tournament for seven consecutive years.
