Alumni Association Board

The mission of the Alumni Association Board is to nurture stewardship of and facilitate communication within the St. Andrew’s community. The AAB plans and participates in events, both on campus and regionally, that work to reconnect alumni, support the experience of current students, and make a lifelong St. Andrew's experience available to members of the School family.

AAB members after their fall 2015 meeting.

The AAB consists of between 20 and 40 members who serve as alumni ambassadors. The membership is representative of the total alumni body, which today numbers over 4,000.

The nomination process begins annually at the winter meeting, when all proposals are considered by the AAB Nominating Committee. Whether proposed by others or self-proposed, candidates must have a history of interest in SAS alumni activities, such as service as Class Agent, a Reunion committee member, or regional involvement. They must be prepared to continue that interest by serving the three-year AAB commitment, which involves attendance at two AAB business meetings per academic year on campus, individual alumni work, and occasional teleconference meetings. The final nominees then stand for election by the AAB at its Annual Meeting of Members during Reunion Weekend.
