Reflections on the St. Andrew's Experience
"I am at St. Andrew's because of the environment. Not the physical one (though the campus is incredible) but the academic, social, and athletic environment. Despite its reputation of academic and athletic excellence, there is no overwhelming pressure or tension at St. Andrew's like there was at several other schools I visited. One of St. Andrew's core values, inclusiveness, means that everyone is encouraged and able to participate, and we all push each other to excel in positive ways."
"VI Form Religious Studies was one of my favorite classes to date. Because it is a required course, I first thought it would be a burden and nothing more. However, the class forces each student to closely examine his or her beliefs as they learn about the history of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Throughout the course of the year, I improved tremendously as a writer and a thinker, but I learned the most about myself and my beliefs."
