Applying to St. Andrew's

The fall 2014 application deadline has passed.  Late applications will be considered only as space becomes available. Please call the admission office to discuss your late application.

If you are beginning admission process to apply for fall 2015, we welcome you to get started!  

  1. Complete the Request Information Form to join our mailing list and get registered on our database. This form must be submitted before you schedule a campus visit.

  2. Come visit St. Andrew's We invite interested students and parents to visit when school is in session. A visit includes a tour of the campus and an interview with a member of the Admission Committee. Allow at least two hours for your visit. Call the Admission Office at 302.285.4231 to schedule your appointment. Regular visits are scheduled on weekdays when classes meet and on some Saturday mornings. Our fall appointment calendar fills up quickly, so don't delay scheduling your visit. Summer campus tours are available, though it is preferred that you tour and interview when school is in session so that you can meet our faculty and students and see St. Andrew's in action. An interview is required to complete the application process and must be completed by February 13.

  3. APPLY ONLINE or Download, print and mail our Application and Parent Statement by January 15.  Please ask your school to forward the Math and English Teacher Recommendation Forms and the Transcript Release Form, to our Admission Office after December 1 and by January 31. As an alternate application, you may submit a printed copy of one of the common applications such the SSAT Standard Online Application, The TABS Application, or the Gateway Candidate Profile.

  4. Register for and take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Be sure to request that your scores be reported to St. Andrew's (#6280). The TOEFL is required if English is your second language. Our TOEFL reporting code is 8146. 

  5. Keep in touch with St. Andrew's. Completed application files are reviewed by the Admission Committee during January and February. For applications completed by January 31, decisions are mailed on March 10 and accepted students are must confirm their enrollment by April 10. Late applications will be reviewed only as space becomes available. While you are waiting for your admission decision, don't hesitate to call us if you have any questions or updated information to share with us.
