Applying to St. Andrew's

  1. Come visit St. Andrew's. A visit includes a tour of the campus and an interview with a member of the Admission Committee. If time permits, we welcome you to stay for lunch or visit a class. Allow at least two hours for your visit. Call the Admission Office at 302.285.4231 to schedule a tour and interview; visits are scheduled on weekdays when classes meet and on some Saturday mornings.

  2. Submit your application by January 15. Please ask your school to forward the math and English teacher recommendations and your transcript to the Admission Office by January 30. All application materials are included in a separate application folder and available for you to download from the Application Materials section of our School Web site.

  3. Take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) in November, December or January. Be sure to request that your scores be reported to St. Andrew's (#6280). The SSAT website will provide further information: http://www.ssat.org/.

  4. Keep in touch with St. Andrew's. Completed application files are reviewed by the Admission Committee during January and February. Decisions are mailed on March 10 and accepted students are expected to reply by April 10. While you are waiting, don't hesitate to call us if you have any questions.
