A
long-standing tradition at St.
Andrew’s is the family style meal. Students are rotated to
different tables ensuring they meet
and talk with various faculty members and students from all forms.
It is a time to connect with people in
the community and it is a time to escape from the rigor of the academic
day and
engage in conversation.
We
have developed a new tradition connecting Alumni and parents with St.
Andrew’s
college students in their local communities. Alumni and
parents host dinners in their homes, bringing St.
Andreans together around the familiar, comforting, family-style meal.
It is an evening of connection and
story telling and a chance to reflect on the shared experience,
community and
ethos of St. Andrew’s.
