To help you plan visits to colleges, we have put together a few pre-planned college tours. These give you a sense of the proximity of various schools and how you might organize your own tour. Most people find that two visits per day allows enough time to fully explore each campus. These tours likely contain many more colleges than you would want to visit in one tour; you can freely modify these trips in Google Maps.
As you plan, be sure to visit individual colleges' Web sites in order to get informaiton about tours, info sessions and area accommodations.
You might also want to check out the Pocket Guide to Choosing a College, published by the National Survey of Student Engagement. This guide lists a number of questions that research has shown to be linked to high levels of student learning and development during college.
